Sunglasses

When you have had such a full summer's day with your little ones, you go to bed, and realize you still have your sunglasses on your head. They make a pretty good headband after all.

Accessories

Q insisted I put it on the other morning. And then I realized how much it reminded me of third grade, and all those jelly and friendship bracelets I used to wear. So, I wore it happily, for about 2 minutes, and then I started getting pawed at too much, and it was a little tight...

Band Aids

...you are sporting a really cool spider man band aid on your wound (which I have to note is due to those kids who always seem to be under foot, ack!). Though sometimes there is no actual wound...;)

Diapering

You know you deserve the "Queen of Diapering Award"
for the night when you can change your baby while nursing,
in the dark!
"Thank you! Thank you!" you call to the crowd as you proudly circle the track waving your (clean) cloth diaper above your grinning face...

GPS

I know, it's pretty fancy all right!
Q updates it regularly when we get in the car lately. It comes with very handy auditory directions like: "take a left, go on the freeway, turn right, etc." and I've been told to drive at about "30 miles per hour!" (so fast! ;)). Don't you wish you had one of these?

Volume

...the volume control on the kids, really wish it existed.
I have this strategy of turning up the music in the car if I just can't take the whining, screaming etc. and usually it helps after a minute or so. Sad, I know, go ahead think I'm an awful parent, I know, I know. Anyhow, after turning down the music the other day Q piped up again with a really whinny voice and I went to turn the volume down on him, as in I reached for the knob, and then realized bummer I can't turn that noise down, ha!

Wizkid

...you find yourself cracking up at that cute little bare butt as the little guy is peeing away in the backyard. Or, side by side with his Papa, even though the bathroom is just inside...boys! (kinda wish I could do that though)
